Sagging Eyelids
Sagging Eyelids
Sagging eyelid is the excess sagging of our upper eyelid and is a common problem as we age. The side of the upper eyelid may be lower than it should be or there may be excess skin in the upper eyelid. Eyelid drooping is often a combination of both conditions and is particularly visible around the upper and lower eyelid as the skin in those areas is very thin. As we age, we lose collagen and elastin, which are proteins that give our skin structure. The loss of these proteins can eventually cause this condition. Treatments for this condition are Plexr or plasma soft technology that utilizes plasma energy to tighten and rejuvenate the eye area.
Treatment Options
Plexr® is a non-surgical treatment method that helps lift the skin. This procedure works by creating plasma energy between the Plexr® probe and the skin creating a tiny spark that heats the skin. The heat generated in this procedure accurately removes unwanted skin and tightens the skin around it. This effect will also cause the skin to stimulate new collagen and other proteins essential in giving the skin structure and volume. Moreover, this procedure is also quick, leaves no scars, and creates an immediate lift to the skin with long lasting results.
